About the facility 
Barwon Health is one of the largest regional health services in Victoria, providing care for approximately 80,000 emergency presentations per year. Under Barwon Health’s emergency model of care patients are streamed to dedicated assessment areas including fast track, adult, paediatric, resuscitation, trauma and mental health areas. Our mission is to improve access and patient flow to provide a sustainable service that ensures high quality, safe, people-focused care. The emergency department also has short stay units to ensure consumers receive the right care, at the right place at the right time.

About the role 

Exciting opportunity to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Emergency), in affiliation with Monash University exists. The successful applicants will have emergency nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and a motivation to continued professional development and be flexible to work all shifts on a monthly self-roster.

The Emergency Department has multiple positions available. All are temporary 64 hours per fortnight until June 2025; however opportunities for permanent positions and/or ongoing contracts post the completion of the course exist
