Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) is the leading provider of imaging services in the Geelong and South West Region.  We provide comprehensive imaging services across five sites, and support Acute Service delivery 24/7 at University Hospital Geelong. 

Barwon Health currently employs 22 Radiologists and 14 RANZCR accredited Registrars.  It is currently the major clinical training facility for the newly formed Deakin University Medical School.  Barwon Medical Imaging has a strong commitment to teaching and research.

Barwon Medical Imaging operates imaging services across 5 sites in the Geelong Region and will soon be opening another satellite site in Colac - co-located with Colac Area Health.

Geelong is Victoria’s second largest city and is situated on Corio Bay, less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne.  The region has a lifestyle to suit all interests with excellent schools, superb beaches, stunning scenery, wineries and restaurants.

BMI are seeking to appoint an Imaging Registrar for 2023 - commencing 6th February 2023 for a 12 month period.

We encourage applications from Doctors in Training who are passionate about radiology, with a minimum of 2 years training and considering a career in this exciting field.

This is a unique opportunity to commence your training program as radiology registrar , gaining experience in radiology reporting, procedures, clinical decision making (in consultation with others) and working within a highly skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team.
