Bellarine Centre 5 – Cardiac Services
Bellarine Centre 5 (BC5) is a 34-bed combined Cardiac service that consists of CCU, Cardiothoracics and Cardiology beds. Cardiac Services covers the complete range of diagnostic and interventional Cardiology, including a 24-hour emergency STEMI Service. The Cardiothoracic Unit performs a wide range of bypass graft, valve repair/replacement, along with complex thoracic surgery.
About the role
We are seeking suitable applicants to fill this temporary part-time position in BC5 (parental leave relief). Previous acute experience essential.
As the Registered Nurse (Grade 2) you will be responsible for the provision of patient / client / resident focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you, in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
Duties of your role include but not limited to:
- Facilitate service coordination where possible to ensure broader health and well-being issues are supported
- Actively participate in improving care activities and service redesign initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive quality ongoing care.
