About the facility
Be part of the Central Resource Unit, where you will be given the opportunity to work across multiple specialty areas including but not limited to Maternity services and Paediatric specialty wards. You will work to support Registered Nurses and Midwives to provide quality care to our Patients. Barwon Health, Central Resource Unit (CRU)/ Access and Resource Unit (ARU) provides emergent and non-emergent nursing staff replacement for all bed based services. We provide staffing resources to meet every day operational needs of clinical units for nursing and support staff for bed based units across Barwon Health.
About the role
We are seeking applicants for the position of Registered Undergraduate Students of Midwifery who are interested in gaining experience in the Acute Care assisting our registered Nurses and Midwives to provide quality Patient Centred Care. This role may entail working across multiple sites and shifts. We are seeking passionate, empathetic individuals who have a ‘positive, can-do attitude' and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You will required to demonstrate a level of flexibility as we are often required to respond to the ever-changing Pandemic.
