Barwon Health, is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria's largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, The Geelong Hospital. The redeveloped Surgical Services at The Geelong Hospital includes 10 operating theatres, a 14 bay Recovery room, a Day of Surgery Admission Ward and a discreet Day Procedure facility with a total of 16,000 operations a year.

About the role

Are you a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse looking to extend your career? Our team at University Hospital Geelong has an opportunity for an efficient and motivated Intravenous and Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join their team in Day of Surgery Admission Ward. You will be responsible for the provision of consumer focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes. Your role will be within this dynamic and challenging unit where team work is paramount. You must have highly developed interpersonal skills both verbal and written. You will establish and maintain effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure consumers receive quality ongoing care as well as actively participate in the promotion of a positive and engaging team culture.
