DAS is expanding and we are seeking three new Senior Clinicians to facilitate the clinical and support needs for the consumer group, as well as an enhanced hours service delivery model.

About the facility

DAS provides clinical treatment and harm reduction services for people seeking assistance with their substance use. We provide comprehensive assessment, counselling, non-residential withdrawal, brief intervention and bridging support, and care co-ordination for people seeking treatment for their substance use.

DAS is located in central Geelong in newly refurbished offices and is in close proximity to University Hospital. The location provides great access to the Geelong shopping and arts precinct, the Geelong Waterfront and public transport. About the roles

The Senior Clinician positions will be discipline specific (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker) with the primary objectives of:

  • Providing discipline specific assessments and interventions for DAS consumers
  • Providing clinical and line management leadership within the team in collaboration with the Manager and Addiction Psychiatrist
  • Contributing to service quality improvement
  • Providing discipline specific supervision to staff and students

Essential: Please provide detail of your leadership and management experience; experience in participation in organisational change and service development; experience in research and quality improvement.
Essential: Are you Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as as OT or as a Psychologist with specialist endorsement as a Clinical, Forensic or Neuro Psychologist or Supervisor or eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers?
