About the facility
Barwon Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.
Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive. We are fortunate to enjoy excellent internal relationships and have developed excellent partnerships with the local community that provide for seamless integrated care for our clients.
MHDAS is entering a new phase of co-design of our service system with people who access our services and our wider community. This will build on our nationally recognized unique cultural approach to the challenges of recovery oriented service delivery to redesign our service system.
About the role
With a focus on organisational strategy, you will facilitate the process and logistics of the program of work associated with the MHDAS redesign through a project management framework. You will support the MHDAS Executive team to shape and design programs and strategies within a project management framework and governance structure.
Working under the guidance of the Director MHDAS you will focus on ensuring the project management arm of the service focuses on Right Care Right Time Right Place (R3) by developing the policy and implementing the associated program of work to align with the MHDAS vision and strategic direction.
To be successful in this role;
- You will bring knowledge in project management with experience and success in managing concurrent large scale projects
- You will be a motivational leader with the capacity to facilitate projects which facilitate the views of multiple stakeholders
- You will be able to think critically and quickly create, analyse and interpret data to achieve results
- You will have sound knowledge of innovative models of mental health service delivery and the international mental health service reform agenda
- You will have outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
