The Central Sterilisation Unit services 12 busy Operating Theatres and both internal and external providers with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

The applicant we are seeking should be a suitably qualified and experienced Instrument Technician who is skilled in leading the team and providing an excellent service in the reprocessing of reusable medical devices in accordance with AS/NZ4187.

Selection Criteria Essential: Certificate 111 in Sterilisation Services
Essential: Knowledge and experience in all areas of sterilisation services including loan kits and sterile store service
Desirable: Previous experience in a supervisory role
Desirable: Skills in Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel
Desirable: Certificate 1V in Training and Assesment
Desirable: Extensive experience at grade 3 level
