About the facility

Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 7,000 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 23 key locations throughout the region.

About the role 

Do you have extensive cleaning experience and would like to work in our friendly and well supported team? We are currently building our workforce in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a Cleaner at Barwon Health you will be required to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; in accordance with Victorian Healthcare Cleaning Standards, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

You will be required to undertake the effective and efficient cleaning of the facility; including public, staff, inpatient, and clinical areas; together with the operation of the waste disposal and recycling systems.
