Formed in 1998, Barwon Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. Bellarine Centre 6 North (BC6N) provides a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and education in our specialist areas of renal, gastroenterology and general medicine. The 28 bed ward is centrally located at University Hospital in Geelong only a short walk from our vibrant waterfront, botanical garden and cosmopolitan CBD with an array of festivities on offer.
About the role
Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse looking to enhance your career in Victoria’s leading regional health care service? Multiple opportunities are now available on BC6N due to an increase in beds following winter demands. BC6N offers a dynamic and empowering team environment, seeking nurses that have a passion to provide quality consumer centred care for patients which meets best practice standards and is in line with Barwon Health requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will need to be available for an assessment centre that will be held on either the 13th of August or 23rd of August. The assessment centre will involve a group activity, a short panel interview and written questions over the course of three hours.
