About the facility

Neurosciences consists of teams of health clinicians at University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, community rehabilitation and the Neuroscience Clinic. Our clinicians have specific skills in the management of neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's, MS, MND, Epilepsy and other diseases of the brain and nervous system.

Clinicians within our team aim to consistently provide evidence base care, education and support to reduce the impact on people with neurological conditions and their relatives.

About the role

The MS Clinical Nurse Coordinator is both directly and indirectly responsible for facilitating streamlined pathways of care by providing a high level of clinical skill and knowledge to patients with neurological diseases. There is an emphasis on Multiple Sclerosis patients, carers, staff and health care providers across Barwon Health and the South West Region in the acute, sub-acute and ambulatory care settings.
