About the facility

The Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) is a comprehensive cancer centre that has provided expert care to those affected by cancer in Geelong and southwest Victoria in a supportive and caring environment since 1992.

Our service gives adults living in the Barwon South West region access to world class cancer treatment.  Based in Geelong, we have state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and highly skilled health professionals who provide personalised treatment and care. Chemotherapy, haematology and radiotherapy services are provided at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.

About the role

Barwon Health now has an exciting leadership opportunity within Cancer Services.  This vacancy is for the role of Nurse Unit Manager within the ALCC Oncology, Haematology & Radiotherapy Day Ward and provides treatments including chemotherapy, blood product transfusions, specimen collections and a range of other cancer procedures.

The primary objective of this role is to provide leadership, planning and delivery of a high quality service whilst developing and maintaining a professional and collaborative partnership in the overall management of Barwon Health.
