About the facility
Jigsaw provides specialist early intervention for young people with or at risk of developing a psychotic disorder and treatment services for young people with drug and alcohol and/or high prevalence disorders. Under the auspice of the wider Barwon Health Mental Health & Drug Alcohol Service, it also forms a central component of the Headspace Geelong Consortia and is actively involved in service development and innovation to assist in the national campaign to promote early and effective mental health and drug and alcohol interventions for young people.
This position is with the Jigsaw City team, based in a modern refurbished building in Geelong CBD which is close to many lively amenities and accessible transport links.
About the role
As the successful applicant you will provide clerical and secretarial services to the Jigsaw team in order to support the service to provide courteous, efficient and clinically effective care for people with major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues. Duties include:
- Continuously improve Clerical and Secretarial processes.
- Coordinate escalated enquiries where appropriate
- Develop documentation and submit to appropriate staff member for checking
- Contribute to and assist Manager in the performance of area
