About the facility

The Transplant and Apheresis Unit at UHG was established in 1992 to provide a therapeutic apheresis service for patients from Geelong and surrounding Barwon South Western region.  We are the only regional Apheresis service in Victoria and have grown to provide specialist care encompassing both therapeutic plasmapheresis and cytapheresis procedures, as well as a NATA accredited autologous blood stem cell collection programme.

About the role

As the Registered Nurse, you will ensure the effective provision of patient-focused, holistic nursing care incorporating care of patients undergoing therapeutic and cellular apheresis therapies in order to achieve and maintain quality patient and optimal clinical outcomes, with responsibilities encompassing clinical apheresis and haemopoietic progenitor cell transplant coordination.

Essential: Demonstrated recent experience working in an acute nursing setting
