Wallace Lodge

  • 108-bed facility located at McKellar Centre, North Geelong, easily accessible via the Geelong Ring Road and is a short drive to the Geelong CBD
  • Offers permanent and respite care to older people with a choice of room designs

About the role 

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to join our team here at Wallace lodge in a full-time time position.

Duties of your role include, but not limited to:

  • Undertakes effective recruitment of staff into the unit ensuring provision of a high quality service that meets the needs of the residents, and promotes staff satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitors the clinical and financial performance of the service to ensure alignment with departmental and Barwon Health’s operational requirements in conjunction with the Facility Manager
  • Provides adequate resources to enable education and study leave for professional development
