About the facility
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialised area of medicine that cares for patients with life-threatening or potentially life-threatening conditions. It is designed to treat and provide patient-centred care for people who are critically ill or at risk of developing a serious complication and/or recovering from major surgery.
About the role
Several exciting opportunities are available to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care Nursing), in affiliation with Monash University. Successful applicants will be supported with a structured program which will enable the development of the skills and knowledge required to care for critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit. In this role you will work as an active part of a health care team that shows leadership and embraces change in the coordination and delivery of care in a modern and well equipped ICU. Multiple temporary positions of 64 hours per fortnight are available.
