About the Role
Barwon Health are now recruiting for a Medical Management Registrar to commence in 2022.
As the Trainee in Medical Management you will work with the Chief Medical Officer, Executive Medical Director, Director Medical Services and Director of Medical Workforce to provide professional leadership and clinical guidance in relation to strategic and operational projects as required, with a particular focus on clinical governance, clinical leadership and liaison with junior medical staff within Barwon Health.
This position is designed to provide you as the trainee with exposure to a wide range of medical management/administration matters in a large complex health service environment under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, Executive Medical Director and Director Medical Services.
You will work closely with and be supervised by the Director Medical Services through regular weekly meetings and on an ad hoc basis as required. As the trainee you will also provide policy and operational support to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer.
