About the facility
Barwon Health’s Food Service is a large department over 2 sites, University Hospital Geelong (UHG) and the Mackellar Centre. Our Food services provide over 3000 meals per day to residents, clients and patients seven days a week.
About the role
Barwon Health is looking to appoint Food Service assistants located at the Grace McKellar Centre central processing unit. It is here that all the meals are prepared to be distributed throughout the hospital, to patients and cafeteria’s.
It is essential that the successful applicants can work in a hospitality health care environment with plating and serving meals, prepare hot and cold food items, beverages and always has the consumer at the forefront with all service provided. You should possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate. Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service, well- developed interpersonal and communication skills with an alibility to work in a multi discipline team is essential.
