Barwon Health has a total of around 1000 beds, a budget in excess of $500 million & a workforce of around 7,000.
About the role
Barwon Health has a vacancy for a Rehabilitation Registrar commencing immediately. This could be a great opportunity for someone thinking about entering the Rehabilitation Medicine training program, or for an HMO or Registrar seeking to gain experience in this rewarding area until February 2020.
Initially the successful applicant will work in Orthorehabilitation, covering orthopaedic, amputee and general rehabilitation, and for the second half of the year will work in Neurorehabilitation, including stroke and other neuro-rehab, spinal cord injury and ABI rehab.
Within this role you will provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients, whilst fulfilling Medical Board of Victoria pre-registration training requirements.
