Barwon Health's University Hospital Geelong is one of Victoria's major teaching hospitals and has a reputation for innovation in research and excellence in patient care. Medical, surgical and specialist services offered are among the most comprehensive of any hospital in the state.
About the Role
University Hospital of Geelong is a vibrant busy unit close to the Surf Coast and Melbourne. As a level 5 unit with 2700 deliveries there will be opportunities to fine tune your skills in antenatal & intrapartum care.
Involvement in the newly developed scanning services for twins, preterm birth and fetal growth restriction clinics will be part of your role.
You will also be involved in EPAS.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in complex LSCS lists operating with a consultant to enable you to develop as a confident obstetrician.
You will be involved in multidisciplinary training including PROMPT Courses.
UHG is committed to ensuring that your training needs are met any gynaecology component will be supported as per RANZCOG requirements.
