About the facility
The South Wing is located at Barwon Health’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre situated only minutes from the centre of Geelong. It is situated on a vibrant community asset within the parkland surrounds of the McKellar Centre and incorporates state of the art equipment. South Wing provides care for specialist orthopaedic, spinal, multi-trauma, amputee and general rehabilitation patients.
About the role
Barwon Health has an opportunity for a Grade 2 Registered Nurse to become part of the dynamic team at our Rehabilitation centre at McKellar centre, South Wing. In this role you will be involved in delivering care to orthopaedic & general rehabilitation patients in a supportive learning environment. This is a temporary position with scope to permanent hours as they become available.
As the successful applicant you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated team who take pride in providing a high quality service. You will be responsible for the provision of patient focused holistic nursing care in order to achieve desired health outcomes and wellbeing. Your role will be within this dynamic and challenging unit where teamwork is paramount. You must have highly developed interpersonal skills as well as sound communication skills both verbal and written.
