About the Role

University Hospital of Geelong is a vibrant busy unit close to the Surf Coast and Melbourne.  There will be ample opportunities to hone your O&G skills with 2700 deliveries per year & 12 gynaecology operating lists per week. This is an ideal role for candidates in year 5 or 6 of their training pursuing a generalist career in obstetrics & gynaecology.

There will be training in gynaecology including major surgical procedures.

Intrapartum care & acute gynaecology cover.

Opportunities to participate in training, research & audits.

As a senior registrar you will be responsible for the coordination of the junior doctor roster.

The unit is committed to candidate focussed training.
