About the facility

Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 28 key locations throughout the region.

Alan David Lodge is a 108 bed residential aged care home located at Alan David Lodge in Charlemont. We offer focused professional development with dedicated nursing educators, set within new state-of-the-art facilities.

About the role

Do you have a passion for aged care nursing and are dedicated to resident focused care? Barwon Health’s Alan David Lodge has an opportunity not to be missed. As the ANUM you will be responsible for the provision of resident focused holistic nursing care in order to achieve desired health outcomes and well-being.  Your role will be within a dynamic and challenging unit where teamwork is paramount. You must have highly developed interpersonal skills as well as sound communication skills both verbal and written. Previous aged care experience is desirable.
