Part of a Team

The Emergency Department at University Hospital Geelong is the state's longest established ED. The department is the referral site for most of the South West region of Victoria, extending at times to the South Australian border.

With the exception of Neurosurgery, Transplant Medicine and Major Burns, most patients requiring admission are kept at University Hospital Geelong, so staff working in our department gain vast experience caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds with varying conditions and degrees of acuity

The Emergency Department prides itself on being a welcoming, friendly place to work with a strong focus on training and support of its staff. There is a strong sense of community within the department and the team does a great job of getting the job done, even when demand increases significantly.

If you are looking for a stimulating place to work and a great team to work with, then the Emergency Department is for you.
