About the facility
Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The centre is a 100 bed inpatient facility offering rehabilitation in Palliative care, Geriatric evaluation and management, Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee service. The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.
About the role
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing neuropsychological assessment and client-centred intervention within the inpatient rehabilitation programs. This senior role is responsible for ensuring contemporary evidence-based psychology services for rehabilitation clients within the clinical setting. You will provide supervision to Grade 2 staff and students on placement and will work within the rehabilitation team with the aim of maximizing the efficacy of the full range of rehabilitation interventions delivered.
You will be well supported with 1:1 and peer supervision from our large team of Neuropsychologists and Clinical Psychologists.
