About the Role

Barwon Health are now recruiting for Neurology Advanced Trainee Registrars to commence in 2023. As the Neurology Advanced Trainee you will be required to provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Following the directives of and in conjunction with supervising medical staff, ensure that resources are used appropriately and efficiently in the management of patients under their care to ensure quality patient care is attained and maintained.
  • Supervising and supporting BPT’s, HMOs and Deakin Medical Students attached to the clinical unit, including provision of guidance in patient care, teaching and assistance with completion of discharge summaries and discharge prescriptions.
  • Demonstrating an ability to work as part of a team, understanding the roles and responsibilities of other health professionals
