The Redeveloped Surgical Services at University Hospital, Geelong includes 10 operating rooms, anaesthesia and recovery, perioperative service and a discrete day procedure facility with a total of 16,000 operations a year across a number of surgical specialities.

Are you looking for a position within a highly skilled, professional, friendly team who take pride in providing high quality care? Look no further. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse Grade 2 to become part of our busy team in a temporary maternity leave relief role for 12 months.

As a registered nurse you will actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality health care outcomes for our patients. Highly developed interpersonal skills as well as sound communication skills both verbal and written are essential. You will need to be proactive and correctly assess possible problems and take actions to solve them accordingly whilst building and maintaining relationships with patients and their families or carers.
