About the facility
Maternity Services at University Hospital Geelong provides pregnancy, intrapartum and postnatal care for both high and low risk pregnancies. The number of births per annum is around 2600. Antenatal care is provided in both hospital and community sites. We have a Maternity Assessment Unit adjacent to the Birth Unit. The Birth Unit has 8 birth rooms. The Maternity Ward has 24 beds, an Extended Postnatal Care service and a Lactation service.

Are you a Registered Enrolled Nurse, medically endorsed looking to enhance your career at the leading regional health care service? This is your opportunity!
As the successful applicant, you will work in the Birthing suite and may have direct patient care under the supervision of a midwife in a postnatal setting. The role does have an environmental/domestic service element and requires the ability to be diverse and accommodating of operational needs within the Birthing suite environment.
This role is very different to any other enrolled nurse position you would have done.
You will be a highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to evidence based practice.
