About the facility
Percy Baxter Lodges is part of Barwon Health Residential Aged Care Services situated on the McKellar site which incorporates extensive grounds in the suburb of North Geelong. Percy Baxter Lodges underwent a major refurbishment over the four occupied hostels during 2016. Percy Baxter accommodates a total of 83 residents that provides single room accommodation. We are dedicated to resident focused care and maintaining resident independence in a friendly and supportive environment. We offer the opportunity for ongoing focused professional development with dedicated clinical nurse educators on site
About the role
Are you an enthusiastic & energetic Registered Nurse? Barwon Health now has an opportunity at Percy Baxter Lodges. In this role you will provide leadership in the planning and delivery of high quality service within Barwon Health's Residential Aged Care Service. You will have the opportunity to liaise closely with GP/ Nurse Practitioners and other Health Professionals as part of a team in directing resident care. You will possess the required qualification, being a Registered Nurse who has a current registration with Australian Health Practices Regulation Agency. It is essential that you have sound clinical knowledge and excellent leadership skills.
