About the role
As the Mental Health team Administrative assistant you will be Providing clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to the Barwon Health Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services Team in order to enable the team to provide courteous, efficient and clinically effective care for people with major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues.
Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services teams are located throughout the Geelong Region at a number of locations, including Colac and travel to each of these locations will be required as part of this role in order to provide secretarial cover.

Selection Criteria
|
Essential: Competence in the use of office equipment including photocopiers, facsimile machines, scanners, electronic switchboard and computers. Essential: Able to communicate with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner and application of principles of confidentiality and patient privacy Desirable: Knowledge of databases including but not limited to BH PIMS, The Care Manager, BOSS, RAPID, Mediflex and ACE documentation (training provided). Desirable: Familiarity with medical terminology
