Position Summary
  • Fantastic opportunity to undertake a State wide project on behalf of the DHHS and the Victorian Integrated Cancer Services
  • The role will  provide opportunity to work across multiple state-wide agencies
  • You will have the ability to clarify the current state of palliative and advanced care planning options available to cancer patients in Victoria 

About the facility 

Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 7,000 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 21 key locations throughout the region.

About the role 

This is a senior project manager role required to undertake the scoping project outlined in the attached project proposal

The role will be required to work collaboratively across a number of state-wide agencies including the Cancer Strategy & Development team at DHHS, The Palliative Care Consortia, Advanced Care Planning Australia and all the Victorian Integrated Cancer Services. Where the role is based is negotiable however travel between sites and services will be required.
