About the facility 

Newcomb Community Health has a range of Community Health services to assist the needs of the local community. The Newcomb Primary Care team is a multidisciplinary team that consists of Dietitian, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology (paediatrics), Diabetes Educator, Social Worker, Psychology and Community Health Nurses.

About the role 

The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic community based multidisciplinary health team where they will be contributing to the support of both the clients and carers with the aim to achieve optimum level of health independence through a comprehensive, collaborative and integrated approach at the same time providing client centred care to the community members in our care. The role requires the successful applicant to contribute to the development of high quality community based services and assist in meeting key performance indicators

Essential: A qualification Dietetics as defined by the Medical Scientist Award (HASUA 4)
Essential: Accredited Practicing Dietitian with Dietitians Association of Australia
Essential: Experience across a range of Dietetics clinical settings
Essential: Ability to work collaboratively with consumers and service providors
Essential: Ability to manage a high demanding work load and prioritise accordingly
Essential: Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive team environment
Essential: Ability to proactively contribute to and adapt to internal and external change

Desirable: Previous experience in supervising dietetic students and/or Grade 1 dietitians
