About the facility
University Hospital Geelong’s new, state-of-the-art 24-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a level III, adult, mixed medical, surgical and cardiothoracic ICU. Since 2010 it has also become a level II Paediatric ICU, and an ELSO (extra-corporeal life support) centre. It is the only level III ICU in the Barwon South Western region, and is the fifth busiest ICU in Victoria. Geelong ICU is committed to providing the best care possible for critically ill people in Western Victoria.
About the role
As the Administration Assistant, you are responsible for the provision of administration assistance to the Divisional Director of Intensive Care, and to the Intensive Care group. This includes providing a wide range of secretarial, administrative and executive support.
