About the facility

Barwon health is one of the largest Regional Health care services in Australia which provides excellent care delivery at all stages of life's continuum. Services provided by Barwon health include Emergency, Acute care, Mental Health, Aged Care, primary care and community services.

Rapid Assessment Planning Unit (RAPU), is a 16 bed unit with a length of stay of 48 hrs. While RAPU has been operational since 1998, it has relocated to the new and vibrant Birdsey Wing 7. The new unit has state of the art beds and equipment and is light and airy making it a pleasurable working environment.

About the role

If you have a passion for nursing and strive to deliver excellent patient focussed care through best practice then this is the job for you. In this role you will be responsible for the provision of patient focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you, in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be well organised in your work practice, demonstrate a sound knowledge of acute medical nursing and be able to work independently while being part of a cohesive team.
