Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 8,000 staff and more than 1200 volunteers. Barwon Health cover the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care. About the role

Barwon health is seeking dynamic, highly motivated registered nurses to deliver patient centred, safe and high quality across its medical, surgical and specialist units in our permanent part time pool.  We are seeking nurses with broad generalist medical/surgical experience as well as nurses with specialist skills including emergency, critical care and Rapid Assessment and Planning Unit (RAPU). 

This is the ideal opportunity for a nurse who would like the security of permanent part time hours without needing to commit to one particular clinical area. It is a particularly useful role for nurses seeking to start work at Barwon Health and determine where they best fit clinically. As the successful applicant you will be required to have excellent communication skills, enthusiastic, deliver high quality care, and have flexibility in rostering. You will possess sound clinical knowledge, experience in acute nursing and demonstrated teamwork skills.
