About the Service
Barwon Health's Food Service is a large department across two sites, The University Hospital and the McKellar Centre. Our Food Services provides over 3000 meals per day to residents, clients and patients seven days a week. Our Cafeteria service to staff and visitors is open 7 days a week and require a variety of duties by our large team.
About the role
Barwon Health is looking to appoint Food Service Assistants located at the Cafeteria University Geelong Hospital. We are looking for people who can plate, serve meals, prepare hot and cold food items, beverage and always has the consumer at the forefront with all service provided. You should already have, or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA). Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service, well developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work in a multi-discipline team is essential as well as having previous experience working in a Cafe environment as a barista.
