About the facility 

Barwon Health Corporate Finance is responsible for the management of all financial aspects of the organisation, including internal and external reporting. The Finance Department offers a positive, vibrant and friendly work environment that actively encourages initiative and new ideas. 

About the role 

As the Accountant you will be responsible to ensure accurate, timely and effective recording, reporting and analysis of financial information to support the organisation in its objectives.

Your duties will include but are not limited to;

• Month end activities
• Year-end activities and other reporting requirements
• Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items
• Active engagement and support to stakeholders throughout the organisation for financial information
• Adhering to, maintaining and updating financial accounting policies where needed
• The successful applicant will need to have proven capacity to analyse data, prepare recommendations and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
