About the facility
The Allied Health Service at Barwon Health consists of eight professions: Audiology, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, Social Work, and Speech Pathology.
The professions work directly with consumers to deliver diagnostic interventions, assessment, planning, treatment/therapy, referral and management of services. Working with consumers of all ages, across all service settings and care continuum means that we can assist with positive consumer journeys and outcomes.
The Allied Health office team provides administrative support to these clinical services with a focus on ensuring each consumers experience is a positive one.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Allied Health Office Team at Barwon Health. You will provide exceptional frontline customer service as well as performing a variety of administrative tasks that support clinical service delivery including accounts, data entry and referral management.
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about customer service, have a high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn specialist programs such as iPM. Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
