About the facility
Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 7,000 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 24 key locations throughout the region.
Barwon Health, Central Resource Unit (CRU)/ Access and Resource Unit (ARU) provides emergent and non-emergent nursing staff replacement for all bed based services. We provide staffing resources to meet every day operational needs of clinical units for nursing and support staff for bed based units across Barwon Health.
About the role
As the Collaborative Recruitment Manager you will lead recruitment and transition of permanent and casual staff into Barwon Health of the following craft groups (but not limited to) Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Health Care workers and Administration
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Communicating collaboratively with staff in other disciplines and areas within the hospital concerning matters associated with access and resource.
- Providing constructive and continuous feedback around access and resource issues
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
