The Clinical Education and Training Unit leads an integrated approach to clinical education and training, helping Barwon Health to achieve its education goals by delivering, supporting and promoting coordinated, quality education and training across health care roles in Barwon Health and the Barwon South West region. This dynamic unit is committed to the delivery of superior education, training and/or workforce development through high-quality clinical learning environments.
About the role
Do you enjoy supporting student nurses to reach their potential? Then this is the opportunity for you. Clinical Education and Training are seeking experienced Registered nurses to join the undergraduate Clinical Facilitation team on a temporary basis either fulltime or in a job share capacity. As a Clinical Facilitator you will work with enrolled and registered nursing students, preceptors and ward staff to create an environment that supports, promotes and enhances the learning experience. You will work closely with the Clinical Placement Coordinator and Education Provider staff, enhancing relationships and the models of clinical placement offered.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential for the role along with the ability to assess, plan, implement strategies and evaluate individual student learning needs. you will demonstrate extensive experience in a clinical area and a commitment to education.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you are able to attend our assessment centre that will be held on Friday 20th April.
