Operating Monday to Friday Gretta Volum Centre comprises of two theatres and an endoscopy suite with a primary focus on high turnover lists from a variety of specialities including Gastroenterology, General Surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.Our mission is to ensure the right equipment and resource is available to the right patient at the right time in the right place. About the role 

You will be an experienced scrub/scout nurse looking to grow your career at this exciting time of expansion at Barwon Health.  Key to your success will be your energy, enthusiasm and passion for perioperative nursing and your ability to integrate into a busy, dynamic theatre team.

You must be a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. Post graduate qualifications in a relevant area will be highly regarded. You will have a demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development. You must have an excellent communication skills, are well organised and have good time management.  You will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Deliver consumer centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements
  • Establish and maintain effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team so that patients receive quality ongoing care
  • Facilitate service coordination where possible to ensure broader health and well-being issues are supported.
