About the facility

Barwon Health Commercial Finance is responsible for the management of all financial aspects of the organisation, including internal and external reporting. The Finance Department offers a positive, vibrant and friendly work environment that actively encourages initiative and new ideas.

About the role

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will work in partnership with Operational Managers and Clinical Directors/Co-Directors to ensure sound financial management, accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting and the delivery of high quality reporting. You will coordinate end-to-end budget processes, including preparation in-line with Annual Budget Guidelines and coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely completion of budgets. Temporary full time position - 80 hours per fortnight.

Essential: Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting/Commerce
Essential: Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA) and/or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA) or international equivalent.
Essential: Demonstrated financial analysis and management accounting experience.
Essential: Proven capacity to analyse data, develop financial models and determine outcomes.
Essential: Proven ability to build rapport and strong, professional relationships with a range of stakeholders whilst managing competing priorities.
Desirable: Experience working within a public health service in a similar role
