Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography (intervention), Mammography, PET and Nuclear Medicine. These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services.

About the role

Barwon Health are currently seeking 3 Radiology Registrars to build their career at Barwon Health. In this role you will provide high quality, timely, appropriate medical imaging services under consultant radiologist supervision.

As the radiology reguistrar, it is essential that you provide:

  • Highest quality patient centred care
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Manage information accordingly
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Supervise/teach junior radiology registrars, junior doctors and medical students as appropriate

Barwon Health Medical Imaging currently has 3 radiology 1st year registrar positions to commence in 2018. The radiology registrar will deliver high quality, timely, appropriate medical imaging services as part of Barwon Health under consultant radiologist supervision. To fulfil the RANZCR requirements for radiology training and complete the assessments required at the various stages of training as per the RANZCR radiodiagnosis training program curriculum.

Incoming registrars for 2018 will be appointed using a computerised matching system through the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV). More information about the matching process, including the process for preference submission, are available on the PMCV website https://computermatching.pmcv.com.au/
