About the role

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen with Barwon Health in Geelong. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator – Intensive Care.

As the Clinical Nurse Educator – Intensive Care you will:

  • Facilitate and develop education programs, learning materials and education opportunities for Registered Nurses
  • Co-ordinate the clinical and theoretical component of the Post Graduate Intensive Care nursing program – affiliated with La Trobe University
  • Work with the Education & Training team to promote standards of nursing care and clinical practice according to current evidence and National Standards
  • Contribute to the development, facilitation and evaluation of educational programs across Barwon Health.
  • Promote the philosophy of lifelong learning culture within Barwon Health

It is essential you have advanced clinical knowledge strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and a commitment to the principles of evidence based practice.
