About the facility
The Barwon Health Physiotherapy Department provides services to the Geelong/Barwon Region in a range of clinical settings. We are a large department with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes through positive teamwork, staff development and best practice. The role will be located across the University Hospital Geelong, the McKellar Rehabilitation Centre in North Geelong, Community and Home Based Rehab.
About the role
Grade 1 Physiotherapists have a wide variety of rotations to choose from across the acute, subacute and community settings.
Rotations are for four months and provide the clinician with the opportunity to improve their experience and skills in a broad range of clinical areas.
We have supportive supervision structures in place with experienced senior clinicians, and an extensive professional development program to ensure a rich and rewarding learning environment. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy care from assessment through to discharge for a caseload of patients within a multidisciplinary team setting.
