About the role

Do you have extensive Cleaning, Food and Beverage experience and would like to work in our friendly and well-supported team?

As a PS21 you are required to complete 3 Functions of the unqualified Patient Service Assistant role, these functions include;

1. Cleaning & Housekeeping

2. Food & Beverage

3. Transport

As a PS21 (Patient Services Assistant Level 1) you will be required to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; in accordance with Victorian Healthcare Cleaning Standards, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Including effective and efficient cleaning of the facility; including public, staff, and inpatient, residential and clinical areas; together with the operation of the waste disposal and recycling systems. It is also essential you hold a current Food Handlers Certificate, as you are required to transport and serve Inpatient/ Residential Meals & Beverages or be prepared to obtain one.
