About the facility 

The McKellar Centre is the sub-acute campus of Barwon Health, servicing the region of greater Geelong and more broadly the south-west region of Victoria.  It includes a 100 bed inpatient facility for Rehabilitation, GEM and Palliative Care streams, as well as outpatient and home-based rehabilitation services.  Mature and dynamic inter-disciplinary teams provide neurological, orthopaedic, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputee rehabilitation as well as paediatric and transition rehabilitation services.  Barwon Health is affiliated with Deakin University, and is a major provider of teaching to medical, nursing and allied health students.

About the role 

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Rehabilitation Physician to join our dynamic team to cover a six month period of maternity leave based at the McKellar Centre, North Geelong.  The successful applicant will join our existing team of 7 Rehabilitation Physicians.  The role is predominantly outpatient based.
