About the facility
The McKellar Centre offers a range of rehabilitation services that enable people to make a dynamic recovery. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state-of-the-art equipment.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre (IRC) has 100 beds and involves rehabilitation service programs for a wide range of conditions.
About the role
This full-time temporary (fixed term contract) Grade 2 Physio role will provide evidence based Physio services to inpatients in the GEM Unit (Geriatric Evaluation and Management) at the McKellar Rehabilitation Centre.
The GEM Unit has a large multidisciplinary team, including a full range of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff.
You will be work with patients from admission and initial assessment, team-based and patient focused goal setting, therapy and team-based discharge planning.
You will provide clinical supervision for junior Physios and AHA's, and have access to a range of internal professional development opportunities.
