The Workforce Relations Unit is responsible for the development of employee relations strategies and policies and the solution to arising issues within an employee relations framework. The aim of the unit is to foster improved people management practices and decision making across the organisation.
About the role
As the Workforce Relations Officer you will provide professional advice and support to employees and managers across Barwon Health in relation to the full range of employment relations and employee conditions.
The Workforce Relations Officer will provide a hands-on, solution-focussed approach to resolving complex employee relations matters and taking an advanced role supporting and coaching managers through employee relations processes/procedures including reclassification claims, performance management, disciplinary processes, and more. The Officer will provide expert advice and case manage matters from first contact through to closure.
The Workforce Relations team have two Workforce Relations Officer opportunities available, both positions are full time at 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO each four weeks, one opportunity is permanent and the other temporary for 18 months.
