About the facility 

Heath Wing 5 is a 28 bed unit with flex beds to 36. The unit is a fast paced Surgical Ward with high patient turnover who specialises in ENT Vascular, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecological Surgery and General surgery.

About the role 

The Ward Clerk will be responsible for the delivery of consumer focused administrative support; ensuring equity of access throughout the patient’s journey on the ward and to assist the multidisciplinary team by providing efficient and effective clerical support so as to achieve desired outcomes. 

 Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing prompt, equitable and accurate customer services in a professional, courteous and helpful manner, ensuring consumer focused standards are continuously maintained.
• Providing accurate data entry in compliance with reporting standards
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team
